Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Managers

Hillandale Family of Communities | Location: Fairfield Township, Ohio

The Hillandale Family of Communities is a private, family-owned and family-operated community of senior care facilities. We are currently seeking Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Managers on night shift for our communities in Fairfield Township – Doverwood Village and Birchwood Care Center.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the daily nursing operation to ensure the delivery of excellent care, customer service, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating staffing, work schedules and assignments; assuming direct care responsibilities, when needed.
  • Supporting the Director of Nursing and Nursing leadership team; implementing solutions for quality assurance initiatives.
  • Instructing staff, residents, families, vendors, colleagues and community members on pertinent subjects as needed.
  • Participating in selection and training of employees to meet required job competencies and best fit organizational goals.
  • Performing personnel management, such as employee evaluations, scheduling, and attendance tracking.

All nurses must have current instructor-led CPR certification or willing to obtain. Must also have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

We seek the following qualifications:

  • Current license to practice as a Practical (PN) or Registered (RN) nurse in Ohio
  • 2+ years of experience in a nursing home setting; experience with a high volume skilled census is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in English
  • Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
